This is an exciting and challenging role to become a key team member of a highly successful AML due diligence firm. If you want to make a real difference by improving our written client content and training other team members this is the role for you!
We are an extremely successful firm that deals with anti-money laundering (AML) and business risk projects for blue chip clients on an international basis. We work from a stunning rural location just outside Marlborough, Wiltshire.
Our core work area is researching and writing detailed KYC (Know Your Customer) background reports on high net worth/high profile individuals and companies on a global basis. Each of our client reports must be factually accurate and present our findings in an objective and clear manner.
We are seeking to recruit a Client Content Editor to ultimately take overall responsibility for all reports issued to our clients. We produce between twenty and thirty reports each week written by various team members.
Your focus will be to ensure that all of our reports are clear, correct, concise, comprehensible, and consistent.
You will not only be responsible for ensuring that reports are well written, efficiently structured and grammatically correct but also – and most importantly – you must identify errors of fact, ensure completeness of findings, gauge the accuracy of sources of information and check for possible legal issues.
It is crucial that you develop a detailed understanding of our methodologies and client requirements as you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all our written work, together with ensuring that delivery deadlines are met.
You will additionally be responsible for:
- Providing feedback and mentoring to our report writers
- Refining and improving our house style
- Devising and delivering relevant training to all team members
You will already have writing and editing experience; previous experience in KYC/AML issues would also be extremely beneficial however it is not essential as you will be fully trained. You may have previous experience in mainstream teaching, teaching English as a foreign language and/or journalism.
You should have a passion for writing and presenting ideas together with being highly organized and used to delivering to tight deadlines. It is vital that, after training, you gain a full understanding of our business and establish yourself as an expert within our team.
Please note this role is full time and based in our office in Marlborough, Wiltshire. For this reason we will not consider applications from candidates who are not within commuting distance of our office.
The starting salary for this role is between £25,000 and £28,500 depending on experience. The role is full time. We also offer various other benefits.
